wanted to promote its other content and services on its customers'
desktops. With its Klipfolio Branded Desktop Application (BDA), Comcast
allows users to search the Internet, view their email, launch Comcast
applications, and access third-party content. Each option, as well
as remaining visible throughout the day, increases customer engagement
with the Comcast brand.

Staples' branded desktop application
To capitalize on the success of its Easy Button ad campaign, Staples
worked with Klipfolio to extend the Easy Button to the desktops of
its customers with a branded desktop application (BDA). The Staples
BDA lets customers browse new products, conduct product searches,
and make purchases which all contribute to strengthening customer
loyalty and driving incremental revenue. Finally, clicking the online
Easy Button can also trigger the well-known "That Was Easy" sound
bite.

Intel's branded desktop application
Intel worked with McCann Erickson to promote Intel's Formula One Racing
sponsorship to "texperts" that love technology and love
high-performance motor sport. Klipfolio created an Intel-branded desktop
application (BDA) that combined performance monitoring of the user's
Intel hardware with performance monitoring and imagery from Intel's
F1 team. Intel also welcomed third-party content in its BDA from news
and sports partners. Both Intel and the third-party publishers captured
additional clicks and web traffic.

This well-known financial services firm extended its message of fast
and accurate tax returns to its customers with a branded desktop application
(BDA). In addition to tracking a customer's tax return through the
